There's been a change in our final CRASH COURSE venue for tomorrow! Our room at the workshop today was accidentally double-booked. Here is the new address for the CRASH COURSE workshop:

Medicine Lake Apartments
1300 West Medicine Lake Drive
Plymouth, MN 55441

12-4 pm

The THRILL VENUE in Anoka, at George Enloe Park is still solid.

Please call 651-485-7292 if you need any assistance!

Also: for this final get-together, it's very important to be there by noon if you can! If you're hoping to come and learn the dance from scratch, it could be a challenge but we'll still be there! Our goal is to perform the full 5-minute version of the song but for those that only know the 3-minute segment, never fear!!  For the most part we will be constantly rehearsing the song in full--this includes "undying" during the 38-second intro, what to do when we end, and how we will arrange for the 3-minute and 5-minute dancers. Please be rested, bring water and a snack or two.

If you know your dance segments, practice practice practice! :)

We will also go around some final details that you'll need to know about Thrill Time and such. If we're on a roll, we might just continue dancing and cover the details at the building.

YOU MUST BE AT GEORGE ENLOE NO LATER THAN 6:30 :) (yes, there will be more dancing :)

So excited to rock out with all you undead peeps!

We will have VERY limited email access from now until Thrill Time, and will probably not be able to help you in a timely fashion if you email us. If you need to get a hold of us(for anything regarding TTW), please call this number:

Thank you!!

Hey everyone! I'm terribly sorry about the lack of updates--I spent almost all of last week in bed with a ridiculous cold that wouldn't go away or allow me to do anything (include going to class). There have also been some changes with the TTW program itself. Either way, we obviously had to cancel the previous workshops due to my illness, but they are rescheduled.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, from 12pm - 8pm, there will be a big "free-for-all" workshop. The idea of this is that myself and zzeezzee will be available for this entire block to teach you the dance. If there is a specific time that you think you might show up on Friday, please contact reibish at ttw09.halloweencapital.anoka@gmail.com to let us know what time, and how much of the dance you know.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24, from 12-4 pm, we will have the "Crash Course" workshop. If possible, please be available for as much of this as possible--it's more important to be there at noon than stay until four. We'll go over the choreography as a group, work on problem areas, and generally rehearse.

The location of the workshops will be announced later today.

ALSO: while it is very possible to learn the dance from scratch in just a couple of hours (I learned half of it in one!) it would be a huge benefit for yourself, us, and the event if you did at least review the material here.

This includes the dance script and videos. Do what you can to get yourself familiar with it, this will significantly ease the process. There will be just two of us there to help teach you, so if ten people show up and none of them know anything about it yet, that can really hinder some things!

Thank you so much for your patience! See you all VERY SOON!

Hey everyone!

Prior to actually doing the dance, you're gonna have to learn it, right? ...Right?

We will be holding a few different workshops throughout October to help you learn the dance. One of these workshops or meetings must include EVERY dance participant - a full rehearsal. We will rehearse for no less than two hours. Tentatively, we have scheduled a four-hour crash rehearsal on the big day.

Please keep your eyes open for more details!

Current workshops are as follows:

Saturday, October 10
Thursday, October 15

Saturday, October 24, 12-4pm

It's not mandatory that you attend all of these sessions. Times and additional dates are TBD. If these do not work for you, please contact Reidun and we will work out a private session that will work for you!

Please don't worry about not knowing it beforehand! However, this is the way we will be learning it, so it might be a good idea to at least watch the videos and get a grasp of the concept. It's really easy--promise!
